I literally started reading this last night because it's been sitting on my bedside TBR pile since I got a review copy months ago. (Loved The Sweet Spot!)
It took me a little while to get into it, probably because it was after 11pm when I was reading—but I really loved it. It has a similar vibe as The Sweet Spot, but I liked the contrast between the characters' experiences in Dallas and Berlin. (I was having a hard time with Lucy leaving her pets behind, and probably spent far too much time worrying about them in Greta and Otto's care, but that's probably a me problem.) I still have Small Admissions and Musical Chairs on my shelf to read. Have you read them?
I adore Amy Poeppel!!!
Ditto!! Every single book.

I have! It’s been a while—I remember Small Admissions best and I know I enjoyed it but I felt like she really found her style with The Sweet Spot!
I was a little slow to get in—there is a lot of set up!—but as you know I ended up loving it. Lmk if you like it!

It was so good that I finished it and started over and read it again.
