Love this list!! Embracing Audiobooks and reading on my phone in little windows of time have been game changers for me.

I love these suggestions. It took me a long time to make peace with some of these—years even. The clincher for me to make more time was when I estimated all the books on my shelves at home (Not the new ones I wanted to buy, Not the ones I couldn't carry home from the library, Not the ones I desperately wanted to find in someone's garage sale, Not the ones that haven't yet been written), and realized if I was reading 100 books a year well into my eighties, I probably still wouldn't be able to get through it all. Yikes!

Reading on my phone is the easiest way to read more, especially with the Libby app. I have multiple library cards (where I used to live and where I currently live, plus NYPL and Brooklyn, because I'm in NYS). I put anything that sounds remotely interesting on hold and read when they come in. There's an option to deliver later, so sometimes I put things off. I frequently DNF. But having books on my phone means I can read while waiting, which inevitably happens a lot as a mom.
