Yes, will go make hot buttered rice now 😋. Reading You Are Here by David Nichols. Listening to it as well and it’s very entertaining.

I don’t know that one, I will look for it!

Oatmeal on a plate, with rivers of milk and melted butter and mountains of brown sugar and raisin rocks. The end.

I'm more of a mashed potatoes kind of gal when in need of a soft diet. Butter swimming in the well I make with a spoon. Possibly a bit of sour cream. But I'd take rice pudding for dessert.

I'm currently reading an ARC of Won't Be Long Now by Elizabeth Hardinger, which is good (set in Kansas & she just visited Garden of Eden in Lucas, one of the quirkiest towns not only in the state but possibly all of the US) but not recommended for post-dental work. I just picked up the new Jane Harper (Last One Out) & the latest of the Book Woman series by Kim Michelle Richardson (Mountains We Call Home) at the library & can't wait to dig into them.

Mashed potatoes felt too complicated somehow… but I support them! An excellent butter delivery vehicle. And that is a whole list of things I haven’t read—I especially want to look out for the Kansas one.

Dentistry, having to leave the house, and all the other things going on? A bridge too far. I am also a hot buttered rice person. It is pure comfort food. It is what I eat when I am anxious, ill, or just off.

May things ease, and may you have joy. 💖

I just finished American Fantasy, and it was so much better than I had hoped. It's a very fun, light read.

Oh, it does sound good. That one goes on the library list I think, right now.

BTW, I ended up having buttered rice for dinner last night! 😂

mmmm. I like rice, but it isn't my comfort food. I'd have to go for a big bowl of mac y cheese (as my godchildren called it when they were little). Hope your crown recovery goes well. I'm listening to The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp by Leonie Swann - cozy mystery, kind of reminiscent of The Thursday Murder Club but different enough to keep me interested!
